Del Rodgers

Rodrick Del Rodgers (born June 22, 1960, in Tacoma, Washington), is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 3rd round of the 1982 NFL Draft. A 5'11" running back-kickoff returner from the University of Utah, Rodgers was the first 1,000 yard rusher in Utes history.
Rodgers is currently the sports director/anchor at NBC affiliate KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California.
He coached his oldest daughter's high school powderpuff team to four consecutive wins, being the only powderpuff team in Franklin High School history to remain undefeated champions. This accomplishment made him the most successful "coach" among Sacramento media personalities.
==Pro Football Career==

From 1982 to 1985, Rodgers played for the Packers. On December 9, 1984, he ran a 97-yard kick return for a touchdown against the Chicago Bears. After a one-year absence from the league, he came back and played two seasons for the San Francisco 49ers from 1987–1988 and was used primarily as a kickoff returner. He won a Super Bowl ring with the 49ers in Super Bowl XXIII.
